All of the children of Adam Villhard has all passed on but like myself there are children from them that might be of interest to you. First I will take myself, Gilbert Villhard, have one sister Dorothy Zickler [?] address is 4094 Alma Ave. St. Louis, MO. 63116. I have one daughter Janet Murray, address is R.4, Box 29A, Perryville, MO 63775. She was first married to Joe Layton which ended in divorce. Three children from this marriage, Tracy Morris, Tobey Layton, and Timothy Layton. Tracy has one boy 3 years old, Dustin Morris. Others that you might contact are: Velma Roah [? Mr. Villhard was friendly and cooperative, but had no special interest in family history. (He had apparently been called by Norma True about a week earlier.) Russel Villhard is the son of Albert Villhard, and the grandson of Adam (Neff) Villhard. Mr. Villhard is married but has no children. His sister, Viola married Adolph Kensing. They had six daughters, of which one died. The other five are all single. Russel Villhard's mother may have been Estelle Krost. His father later remarried, Leona Wollenhaupt. From this second marriage there was one son, John Villhard, of Collinsville, Illinois. John's wife may be Janet. (This is apparently the John Villhard that Norman Hellmers had contacted earlier.] The Villhard's in the Belleville phone directory are:

HAMM, CHARLES S. - Charles S. Hamm, 70, of Gibson City, died at 10:20 a.m. yesterday 3-27-1986 at Cole Hospital, Champaign. His funeral will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church, Gibson City, the Rev. Mary Kathryn Pearce and Dr. Randall Perry officiating. Burial will be in the Drummer Twp Cemetery, Gibson City. Visitation will be from 5 - 8 tonight at Lamb Funeral Home, Gibson City, and for one hour before the funeral at the church on Saturday. Mr. Hamm was born 12-6-1915 at Champaign County, the son of Charles and Ethel Sawyer Hamm. He married Virgie Villhard on 6-29-1952 at Champaign and she survives. Also surviving are a sister, Mona Erdman, Dewey. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Hamm was a resident of the Gibson City area all his life. He graduated from Drummer Twp High School in 1933 and Illinois State University in 1937. He farmed in the Gibson City area for 60 years, retiring in 1984. He was a republican precinct committeeman for many years, the Ford County Republican chairman for 12 years, and a school auditor for the state. He also worked in various other positions for the state. He was a member of the United Methdist Church of Gibson City, the Gibson City Rotary Club, and the Champaign Elks and Moose Lodge. He was active on the YMCA board at Rantoul. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
