St. Paul - First English Lutheran School
New Orleans, Louisiana
At one time, in the 1950s, the first and second grade classes of the
school were combined and located in an old shotgun double house on St. Claude
Avenue near Port Street. Here is how the old house looked at about that
time (lower right).

The church, constructed in 1893, is to the left (and
to the left of it, the parsonage).

The teacher was Miss Mary
Schleef.
Mary Schleef taught both years of 1949-50 and 1950-51.
