Prior Biographical Information
After graduation Ron attended Tulane University on a football scholarship. In 1962 he and Myra Pellandini (Nicholls Class of 1962) were married. In October 2008 they celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary.

He worked with several local companies, and in 1980 received his designation as a Certified Financial Planner. With the help of Myra, who has a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Ron opened his own financial planning firm. Today, he still operates his business from an office in Kenner.

The couple has two sons, Mitchell and Douglas. Mitchell, the older, teaches Latin and Greek at Jesuit High School in New Orleans. He and his wife Jill have three children. Douglas is a partner in a Baton Rouge law firm. He and his wife Amanda have one son.

Ron and Myra live in Hammond with their three basset hounds, Fletch, Louie, and Joey. Their grandchildren occupy much of their time, and they would not want it any other way.
