Hughes Joseph "Jerry" Cheramie Jr. passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2011, at the age of 68. Son of Virginia M. Cheramie and the late Hughes J. Cheramie Sr. Dearly beloved husband of Judith Ellish Cheramie. Loving father of Eric Cheramie (Jamei), Tracey Cheramie, and Drew Cheramie (Andrea). Brother of Eumes "Albert" Cheramie.

He leaves eight dearly loved grandchildren: Lacey, Hunter, Ryan, Erica, Rachael, Walt, Grace, and Brady; two great grandchildren: Skylar and Jaxon; and a number of cherished family members and long-term friends.

Private services were held at Bagnell & Son Funeral Home of Covington, LA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Memorial that will be announced at a later date.
