Clyde Cole, an insurance salesman, died of vascular disease Monday, April 9, 2001, at East Jefferson General Hospital. He was 58. Mr. Cole was born in New Orleans and lived in Metairie for the past 20 years. Survivors include his wife, Ella Bankston Cole; and a sister, Jocelyn Cole. A private memorial service was held April 17. Professional Funeral Services was in charge of arrangements.
