Nicholas DiMartino Jr., a retired stagehand, died Tuesday of cancer at Memorial Medical Center. He was 57. Mr. DiMartino was born in New Orleans and lived in St. Bernard Parish before moving to Mandeville two years ago. He was a member of the International Alliance of Theater and Stage Employees Local No. 39. Survivors include his wife, Juanita Gisclair DiMartino; a daughter, Dina Marie DiMartino; his mother, Caroline DiMartino; and a brother, Sam DiMartino. A funeral will be held Thursday at 12:30 p.m. at Vickers, Verrette and Dornan Funeral Home, 3027 Jean Lafitte Parkway, Chalmette. Visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery No. 1.
