Lester "Honey" Fredrick Hezeau Jr., age 67, died peacefully surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer. He was well known for his dedication to his family, friends and animals. He was a retired employee of Tenneco Refinery in Chalmette. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester Hezeau Sr. and Mary Hezeau. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Fay Hezeau, and three wonderful children: Kevin Hezeau, Philip Hezeau, and Sherrie Hezeau Frisard. He was the proud grandfather of Kevin Hezeau Jr., Samantha Frisard, Taylor Frisard, and Lauren Hezeau. He is also survived by a sister: Mary Ohler, along with a number of nieces and nephews, and his chocolate lab Baby Girl.

Relatives, friends of the family, employees of Tenneco Oil Refinery, and the New Orleans French Market, are invited to attend the funeral. Funeral Services will be held at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA, on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY. Visitation on Tuesday evening from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. and on Wednesday after 9:00 A.M. until funeral time. The family would like to express their thankfulness to the physicians and staff of Slidell Memorial Hospital. Arrangements by Honaker Funeral Home, Inc., Slidell, LA.
