Robert Earl "Bob" Landress
Bob Landress
is in Marietta, Georgia,
where he settled
in after his tour in the U.S. Navy. He remembers life in New
Orleans, where he discovered his life-long love
of
music. He taught himself to play bass, keyboard, and harmonica, and
through the
years he has belonged to several performing bands. His lead singing
voice, he
said, was in the style of Bob Seiger and Joe Cocker.
He is
retired now from a Georgia
company that specializes in installing fire prevention water sprinkler
systems.
He’s
the father of two daughters and a son and has five
grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
