Louise Perniciaro BarbeŽ
Linda Perniciaro lives in Metairie, having never left the area. She’s still busy in her retirement and maintains special interests in history and architecture, which were developed in her years as a buyer and manager at the Louisiana State Museum in the Cabildo and Presbytere. Linda also worked in the sales and management areas of a family owned business. Her husband, Victor BarbeŽ, Jr., died in 1995. Linda’s son, Vic III, age 46, is a realtor, and son, Michael, a financial planner, is 45. Life at Nicholls is remembered as a happy, carefree time with lots of friends and plenty of activities. She’s kept in touch with high school friends through the years and said that teacher Rosemary Sclafani was a very positive influence on her life. Linda looks to the future for whatever it brings and says she still has dreams but no big plans. Compiled from bio form
